At Don Butler Implement, we offer quality equipment backed by clear and transparent warranty coverage. Our goal is to give you confidence in your purchase with straightforward terms and no surprises.
3-Month / 150-Hour Limited Warranty
In addition to our return policy, we provide a limited warranty covering major mechanical components for a period of three (3) calendar months from delivery or one hundred fifty (150) operating hours, whichever occurs first.
This limited warranty applies only to substantial mechanical failure of major engine or drivetrain components that were not disclosed prior to sale.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Routine maintenance items
- Cosmetic issues
- Electrical accessories
- Hydraulic hoses, seals, filters, belts, fluids, batteries, or other consumables
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper operation, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modifications
Seller reserves the right to repair the equipment, replace defective components, or reimburse reasonable repair costs at Seller’s discretion.
This limited warranty does not extend beyond the stated time or hour limitations and is non-transferable. Except for this limited warranty, all equipment is sold AS IS.
New Equipment – Factory Warranty
Most new equipment we offer from leading manufacturers such as John Deere, Kubota, and Case IH includes a standard factory warranty.
Typical Coverage:
1 to 2 years or approximately 1,000–2,000 operating hours (whichever comes first)
Commonly Covered Components:
- Engine
- Transmission / drivetrain
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical systems
Factory warranties generally include both parts and labor when repairs are completed through an authorized dealership.
Extended Warranty Options
Extended warranty or service contract options may be available at the time of purchase for both new and qualifying pre-owned equipment.
- Extend coverage to 3, 4, or 5+ years
- Protection may extend up to 3,000–5,000 operating hours
- Available at an additional cost based on equipment and coverage level
Pre-Owned Equipment
For pre-owned equipment, original factory warranty coverage has typically expired due to age and operating hours.
- All qualifying units include our 3-month / 150-hour limited warranty
- Coverage varies based on equipment condition, age, and usage
- Some equipment may be sold as-is without additional warranty
